Face lift underway!
PROJECT #2: REPAIRS & UPGRADES TO THE
"YWAM" (Youth with a Mission) BASE
Location: Olongapo City, Philippines
OVERVIEW
Improvements and upgrades are ongoing at the 17yr old, 3 storey
apartment building which was purchased in 1998 as a safe house
for rescued filipino "bar girls."

At the time of this "writing" (Feb 2008) there were
still a few plumbing problems to sort out, but all in all,
the structure is still very useable for the rehabilitative
ministry. There are exciting plans however, to increase the
size of the 2nd level walkway/balcony, which would allow for
an outdoor sitting/reading area for the staff & girls
to have quiet time etc. Your prayerful (tax deductable) donations
for this addtion, or simply toward the ongoing monthly food,
water & electrical bills would be deeply appreciated.
The average monthly operating costs of Ywam Olongapo
is approx $1,300usd, which the Lord has graciously provided
over the years through thoughtful friends and supporters.
The estimated cost for the new sitting/reading area is approx
$3,000usd. And of course, speaking of financial needs for
the ministry there. The faithful staff are often in prayer
for evangelism, discipleship & tuition expenses for the
bar girls we reach out to and subsequently care & provide
for.
